Data Analyst

As a provider of corporate payment services, we maintain large data sets of payment transaction information which contain valuable insights for our corporate clients. We are seeking a dedicated Data Analyst to help us mine these data sets for useful information and present it to our stakeholders in a meaningful and attractive way.
Responsibilities
  • Understand business reporting requirements, evaluate different BI packages and help us with software selection process
  • Become familar with the key data sources, understand the purpose of each business report, formulate the SQL/BI solution
  • Be able to debug and correct any data/report issues
  • Document the technical details of your work
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with other team members
  • Collaborate extensively with stakeholders, program management, and software development team members to ensure that solutions meet business needs, permit valid inferences, and have functional feasibility
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Previous data analytical experience using SQL and MySQL Workbench
  • Numerate and familiar with the basic concepts of business financials
  • 2-3 years' experience of working with real data (data cleaning, data visualization and modeling)
  • Strong hands-on skills in sourcing, cleaning, manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data
  • Pro-active, independent, self-starter who is ready to jump in and get things done

UX/UI Designer

Here at B4B Payments we provide payment services to many different shapes and sizes of businesses in many different industries. Their payment needs vary greatly and so does the functionality they consume from us. Maintaining a simple and intuitive user interface is an ongoing challenge. We're looking for a seasoned UX/UI designer to help us deliver our services more effectively and professionally.
Responsibilities
  • Consult with our clients and account managers to understand how our corporate clients and their cardholders use our products
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from our stakeholders
  • Create wireframes, story boards, sitemaps and screenflows
  • Assist with content development and graphical design
  • Work with the developers to QA completed product features
  • Conduct competitor and customer analysis
Requirements
  • Solid graphical design experience and familiarity with typical software tools
  • A proven track record of designing beautiful user interfaces for both mobile and desktop
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and understanding of real world transaction processes

Strategic Partner Sales Manager

Based in London
Responsibilities
  • Hitting agreed new appointments/follow up targets for the Sales Manager.
  • Working with the management team to identify key market opportunities for our products
  • Identifying strategic channel partners to further grow sales of our award-winning prepaid card solutions and products
  • Forming relationships with these partners and building the business case / commercial proposition with them to ensure there is mutual and realisable benefit for both
  • Identifying and nurturing key influencer relationships within the partner organisation
  • Providing sales training and sales support to the partner as and when appropriate
  • Developing operational plans for the handover of accounts to the Account Management team on a regular basis
  • Fully utilising our CRM system
  • Providing feedback on product development opportunities to further nurture the partner relationships
Requirements
  • 5+ years of successful sales and business development experience
  • Ability to demonstrate possession of extensive network of relationships as well as proven record of supported and developed strategic channel partnerships by selling financial or software / business solution related products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience in engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Capability to articulate and drive commercial propositions
  • Talent to adjust sales style between developing new business leads and converting wins with a consultative approach

Devops Infrastructure Lead

At B4B Payments our IT systems provide high-availability payment services to our thousands of corporate clients across Europe and the rest of the world.

Our stack is based on Linux, Mysql and Ruby on Rails, with some Redis, Sidekiq also in the mix. Our servers are distributed across two data centres with replication and failover provision for DR.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to head up our infrastructure team.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee our automated deployment and QA process
  • Work with our data centre provider and network engineer / sysadmin team to provision and maintain our fleet of VMs across two data centres
  • Monitor, maintain and improve our database replication network
  • Oversee system health and availability monitoring
  • Triage and resolve infrastructure issues in production, working with the network and sysadmin team as required
  • Oversee and maintain our client and vendor interfaces, monitoring availability and trouble-shooting issues
  • Work with our existing network engineer / sysadmin team to validate and document security policies
  • Lead responsibility for all IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops/laptops (MacOS), phones, Asterisk PBX, office routers, switches etc.
  • Analyse and improve our documented processes around infrastructure provisioning
  • Recruiting / outsourcing and managing additional resources to build out the infrastructure team to support the above
Requirements
  • At least three years experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with the Ruby on Rails ecosystem, Linux, Mysql and Capistrano
  • Solid Ruby, Bash and SQL scripting skills
  • Solid Linux sysadmin skills
  • Self-starter who can resolve problems and work independently
  • Leadership experience in recruiting and managing a small team
  • Team player able to work with other departments and report to the management team

Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in our new customer acquisition strategy over the coming years. You will be responsible for managing all outgoing marketing messages as well as supporting our sales and partnerships departments with necessary marketing materials, working with senior management to forecast the efficiency and execute marketing activities via various social media channels, improve SEO for organic search and developing other activities to achieve acquisition and lead generation targets for the year.

Responsibilities
  • Develop the local marketing plans to support the regional sales objectives of growing existing and acquiring new customers
  • Research, recommend and execute targeted local marketing plans that include events, partner activities, webinars and content, establishing local relationships with related partners
  • Day to day management of our News/Blog websites as well as providing necessary marketing material to our partners
  • Proposing and implementing the Search Engine Optimisation strategy and roadmap to increase organic traffic through relevant content, backlinking, following up and being up-to-date for Google Algorithm updates
  • Blog writing, social media management, case study production (videos and written)
  • Development and management of an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives
  • Working closely with the sales and business development team to ensure effective lead follow up and management through the entire pipeline process
  • Ensure that all marketing activities and results are tracked and measured for the analysis of current and past performance
  • Ownership of the company brand; management, communication and promotion of this brand to both internal and external stakeholders
  • To present a strong and consistent public face of the company to all stakeholders and partners
  • Oversee and manage third party PR, creative and digital agencies as needed.
Requirements
  • 3 - 5 years of successful, hands-on marketing experience with a focus on B2B. An agency background would be an advantage
  • Experience in software or finance & technology sector
  • Proven experience implementing successful SEO strategies, campaigns and growing organic traffic
  • Experience in paid social media campaigns on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
  • Strong communication skills both written, spoken and visual
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to understand the merits of different online marketing and lead management technologies and how to engineer them together for a successful outcome
  • Ability to prioritise your workload and self-manage
  • Strong analytical skills to determine ROI of marketing programs
  • Working with Adobe Creative suite is a must
  • Experience of working with CRM systems and Google Analytics would be a bonus
  • Experience managing a marketing budget desirable
